The best joint is a soldered joint!

Cheap connectors like this make a huge difference
in voltage and lumen light loss.The blue dots in this
images show the only surface that makes a poor
electrical contact. This connector is only rated for
a 24 watt strip light at 100% capacity.
Less than 1/16" contact.

We solder all of our connections for
a very secure electrical connection

tape insulated coating

The best way to connect wires to LED strip lights

Our power LED power connections are good for 20 amps.
Thats 10 times more contact area than the photo with the red dots. Cheap connectors
do not carry current well! Snap on connectors wiggle loose with the smallest movement.
Some LED tape lights may have a varnish coating on the copper that will prevent good contact.
Ours have a positive cam lock on the wires.
